Okay, so, I flipped Jill Scott's first single, "Gettin' in the Way," which has one of the illest bass lines in the world. I had fun creating it, but of course I had some doubts about ever releasing it. In fact, I had planned on lockin' this in the vault and never letting anyone hear it. Why? Well, for some reason I (arrogantly) believed that it sounded too similar to a Dilla beat. And the last thing I wanted was someone screamin' "BITER!" so I had considered locking it in the vault.
Then the better half of me said "forget it," and I made this blog. Haha.
